Facts about my trip:
*The Marines laid low (but I swear I can spot one from a mile off! :)
*I used my sun-screen but forgot to put it on my ears...yep- the left one is hurting!
* Saturday it rained.
I drove down to the ocean anyway and sat in my car and read- leaving my keys in the ignition.
I forgot THAT MY HEADLIGHTS NEVER SHUT OFF when the keys are in the ingnition.
My battery died... Yet another Blonde moment- from me to you! :)
*The sky was beautiful on Sunday!!!Do you really think I wanted to come home on Monday????

But it is hard to blog from the beach- and I did miss you all...and I have lots of catching up to do~ Hope to drop by tonight and get caught up with all of you :)

Just came back from Perci's where I put althusius on a lathe.
Dang! I should have kept on the poet's gown!
It's just that when I rhyme, the hatred won't really flow free.
And, I like it so much better, being nice is more like being me.
But, some kind'a berate it, and, I reckon they have a point.
Like when y'hear a tune over and over sometimes makes y'want out'a the joint!
Oh well.

cora, i've had brunette moments like those.....
1. I've locked my keys in the car.
2. I've dropped my keys down a drain before...a long time ago. 3. I've parked, but left the ignition on so i could still listen to the radio....dead battery an hour later...
4. yesterday, i went to pick my oldest from scouts. 1st i drove in the direction of my in-laws before i realized i was driving wrong, then i turned around and absentmindedly drove in the direction of downtown.....i had to turn around again and finally got it right.
.....and i won't even talk about rearending my hubbie at the impossibly fast speed of 5 miles an hour or less..

I loathe being at odds with someone...unless it's someone I can take a swing at! (don't you believe it!) lol!
I daresay that something very frightening will unify us- and it will be a dark terrible day. It makes me sad that we don't appreciate life until we face death.

Welcome home, no worries about the blonde moment, I have them too. I ran out of gas in the middle of the drive through at the bank...DUH...that was embarrassing.
