Have fun at the beach. You deserve it.

BTW, I just read the post you made on Sunday. It is excellent.

I was going to say "must be nice," but since I'm headed to San Diego this weekend, I guess I'm ok with it. :-)
Enjoy.

Sorry. You can't go. I know we just met, but you need to be there (and by there, I don't mean "there at the beach") for me. I'm not good with abandonment. I have issues.

Cora, I'm assuming this is a female friend:-)

Have fun. Come back with fun stories. Whether or not you feel comfortable about telling these stories or not is one thing. But at least have a good time.

it's my turn at the beach......
as they say in German
"Mit Kind und Kegel"

that basically means with everybody, and i mean everybody in tow..

Liquid- Welcome! :)

Schaumi- ""Mit Kind und Kegel"

I would have translated that into,
"a female exercise that is good for Mit" (lucky Mit!) LOL!!! Glad you straightened that out! :)
Have fun- you will be wayyyy south of me next week when we are at EI. I'm sorry about that! :)

hahaha, Cora that is funny...:)

yes, it basicallly means with kit and caboodle....

mit Kind und Kegel - with child (not the pregnant implication) and bowling ball...

yes, my in-laws like those southern nc beaches

When we vacation with friends we usually go to Atlantic Beach...just the other end of where you go...

Germans also say, "Our feet are stained" whenever they take leave of you.
