A Blue Mood~

--
One of my most favorite paintings ever...

I found this quote today- written by a woman who's had a blog for 3 years now.
I needed to read this...

"It was the one place where I could be true to myself and remember who I am- a creative being. If you are in a rut shake things up for yourself. Start a creative venture. My life is what I make it each and every day. It's as dull or as interesting as I make it. Blogging showed me that."

For dinner I was creative-
I cooked fresh baby lima beans, sweet peas in butter sauce, country fried pork chops with a brown gravy that will make you lick your plate, and gold and white corn with a pinch of sugar and a pad of butter.

And now I'm going for a walk- and hope this blue fog that's settled in on me lifts sooner than later!
Maybe the moon will be out??? I hope so :)

A meal like that would lift me out of a blue mood in a hurry.

I love creativity. I'm not good at all at many creative things, but fortunately, I have found a few which I seem to do ok with. I think there is something spiritual about creativity. Especially when it is not being done for monetary reward but instead just for the pure satisfaction of it.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Three quick thoughts inspired by your post:

1) Technically the moon is always out.

2) I love that painting too.

3) The quote is a good reminder that we do create our own realities.

Stay happy, Fair Mayden.

Um, can I come over and eat at your place? Sounds better than any of the restaurants you named in the last post.

It- shake and bake? LOL :)

Schaumi- If you are a princess- it's under your mattress :)

Gary- It was a great dinner...and I did it for my family- and they liked it too- yeahhhh!

PW- Thank you. I appreciate your encouragement :)

X~ LOL :) If you ever come this way- I promise to cook! My husband blames me (in a nice way) for making him the well rounded man he is today :)
He doesn't complain much though :)
