Mute Monday~ "Food and Drink"

For "She":
Food and Drink in my life...
The carved Ostrich egg came from South Africa~
The weird food halfway down was in China.
The "Corazon" has not been opened, I bought it because it had my name on it! LOL

Thank you Bace man...
Now, shall we talk about the pot roast lunch I made- and you left uneaten in the fridge at work all week?
:)

Ho! Yummy cookies..and I knows that ornament style!!

an' can ya' c'mon over an' tell me your favorite unreal, real person on the Front Porch?

Mayden' s Voyage said...

Artfulslub- thanks :)
And if one eats too many of the cookies- one will also blow up!
But they were good!

She-
Thought of you often yesterday- I roasted pork ribs slowly for 5 hours, then made black beans with a ham hock- served over rice, and green beans (got to have something green!). Oh- I think T and I hurt ourselves...but dang it- I didn't take a pic!
Yeah- the food in China varied from place to place, but I was a good soldier and tried mostly everything. And mostly everything was good.
But not the fried grub worms- lol :D

Aunty- perhaps this year you will get a batch of cookies too! :)
I'm on my way to your porch~

Bace man, I've had a taste of one of those pictures myself. I'll say you're lucky.

Mayden, this brings back a lot of good memories, seeing some of those pictures, as I have, before. I haven't seen the birthday cake photo before, but it brings back good memories of the person blowing out the candles.

Hey Leelee-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I saw that someone else had used a heart and I copied it- and it pasted :)
All the other symbols I've tried to use just come out like little squares...

/t- in whatever form you send a hug/kiss, it's always welcome, and returned :) ¤¤¤¤ :x

SJ- If you make it to the Southestern US- you have a standing invite to dinner- seriously :)

X- Hugs. I'm feeling kind of blue that I don't have a trip to NYC to see you this fall! Cookies will come in the mail again though! (Nov/Dec :)

cora...you didnt need to say anything! the picture of the cookies did it for me!! can you please give the recipe???

Mayden' s Voyage said...

Libby- I swear- it's the one on the back of the Nestle Toll House package :) But, I do use REAL butter- and it makes a huge difference.
I also made chocolate cookies with p-butter chips (I called those the Black and Tan for K9/She)
And I made them the regular way with choc. chips and with p.butter chips.
I also LOVE them with Heath Bar bits inside.
The fudge is the recipe from the marshmellow fluff in a jar...oh good heavens...I can hardly wait for the fall! :) I only make cookies during the holidays.
losing weight is hard enough as it is! :)

Neat. The little girl looks as though she is trying to eat the calf.

Chinese food in China, don't get any fresher than that!!

Aunty Belle said...

Oooh! Honey chile' I'll take them cookies!!

When is ya comin' thisaway agin? I'll put an apron right on ya'!!

darkfoam said...

now i'm hungry again...;/....:)

Mayden' s Voyage said...

Little Lamb, thank you :)

Phos~
The little girl is me and I am pretty sure I was kissing the calf~
:) However, since I do like steak...who knows if I ate that one later or not.
(ewwwwwww :)

Aunty Belle- I wish I knew when I was coming your way :) But when it gets cooler all I need is a mailing address (PO Box is fine if Uncle is uncomfortable with you giving me the real thing ;) and I will mail them to you~ So far my cookies have been to Alberta Canada, NYC, and Atlanta.
I'd send some to Japan and India, but I'm not sure how fresh they would be upon arrival :)

Foam-
Me too! And I'm going to skip dinner tonight and go for a walk instead. Ugh...I'm so out of shape :(

My kids looked much the same (but I never let them eat a stick of butter!)-ugh...it all seems like such a long time ago~
