First-
I want to take a moment to thank Roxanne for the lovely header she made for me :)
(And she inspired me to figure out how to post a link properly! LOL :)
It was a thoughtful and inspired gift...I don't know if she knew that "hearts" are my favorite symbol- perhaps it was intuition? I was delighted when I found out that "Cora" not only means Maiden in Greek, but in Spanish (as Lux pointed out) a similar name "Corazon" means Heart...so it was destiny for me anyway!
Thank you Roxanne- and I hope that any bloggers who would like to have a custom header will contact you. I hope you will be wildly successful in this new line of work- I love what you did for me! :)

Second...
I wanted to share this with you~
"I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help.
There is no mistaking love.
You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame that heals our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other."
-Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Like my dear friend, Enemy of the Republic, I think I'm going to have to step back for a while. I've got to clear off my desk- and clear out my head, and heart- and try to get through a stack of stuff that I've been putting off for a while.
-
I'll be around- and most of you know how to email me if you want to ask me something...and quite a few of you have my ph#- and you are always welcome to call me.
-
I leave you with one last thought- (at least for now!)

"The more you judge, the less you love".

Love to you all...I will keep in touch~

dear cora,
so sorry to read this. i know of what you speak, i think ... forging, dear cora ... i have suffering the forging process so much, @ times i felt my soul would get rubbed away from the rawness of pain.
i wish i could extract this from you. or cast some loving glow that would lift this from you. but ... alas. my 'powers' do not extend to that range. and, so ... i am sending you some good, energy, filled with light and love and a prayer or two.
do what you need to ... (lol ... i have stepped away from this place on more than one occasion, tho not as gracefully or graciously as you or ETOR have). anyway, i do not want to press you ... but know that i am a mere click of your mouse away from you, should you want to vent ... or whatever.
you have offered me your shoulder/ear and i have bent it, for sure. so ... friend ... you do not have to be steely. know that you are loved ... that when you falter or fall you just get up, dust yourself off, patch the wounds and move ahead.
whatever stalk of darkness you find yourself in, find the blossoming dawn the lingers, hidden there, somewhere. i try to hold onto that sentiment ... when i feel myself slipping into the landslide of despair. "pluck the blossoming dawn from the deepest stalk of darkness."
i had a strong feeling about you this week. that ... something wasn't right with you. it spurred me to purchase a card, in which to place a snail mail letter, for you. i will write you.
know that someone (i am sure i am not the only one) is thinking of you. and that you're loved so much. i know, that sometimes, this just doesn't feel like its enough. i know. i wish for you to find that quiet place within yourself, where peace can live. and where the tears can fade.
love to you ... i will keep in touch, dear friend.
xoxo

know that you are loved and that you clearly have a bounty of assorted shoulders at the ready. you might even hear your name as it travels on the wind from my prayerful muzzle and up ol' I-85
/(soft) grrrrrrrrrrrr
Please do keep in touch.
Go find yourself, but just don't go to far. I like having you around. You are a wonderful person, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
OK, Cora. Take your time, do it properly. We'll wait. And I think you know how to contact us if you think we can help.
Cora, Whatever it is that's hurting you hope you triumph over it. And knowing you you can.
Whenever you decide to come back I'll be glad to talk to you.
Send me a mail sometime -or a magnet would do too :)

I love you and will stay with you metaphysically through your hiatus. God bless and keep you whole.
Me will stand guard outside the temple of contemplation to make certain that your time of intropsection will remain safe and tranquil. Go and get your rest. Set the burdens of life aside for a while and tend your garden.

Take care, FM.
I like that saying, but I've been saying it backwards fer too many years.
The more you love, the less you judge.
Still, I posted a picture of me wearin the nice scarf y'all sent.
Been using the dickens out'a it.
Smell ya later!
(by the way, my tv show's on today! Queens cable access, baby!)
It is probably just the post-vacation blues. You know the "Crap, now I have to go aback to work" kind of thing. Walk it off Mayden, walk it off and post so I have something to read in the wee hours of the morning when I can't sleep - did that come off as too selfish?
You need to come and participate in Gruntstock!!!
You're going on a hiatus? And I just discovered you! :(
