The highlights of the weekend :)

Last weekend was not a total bust...

One fun thing we did last week was decorate the tree-

and I had a little pal to hang around with me...

I'd like to show you what we did :)

Here is the tree- just with lights ~

Me- in my very alluring PJ's...complete with flower socks, and pink slippers...

LOL!

My new "Pal" was very helpful in making sure I made the fudge correctly :)

And he made sure I used real butter in the "Black and Tan" cookies~

And he watched over my "little Pixie" as she surfed the web- (playing Runescape)

____

And look who's sitting in my tree!!! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok- These are for Lux...and anyone who thinks that glasses and that "ready for nite-nite look" is sexy :)
This reminds me of how me and mom used to stay up late and get things ready before almost every festival.
Can I be 10 years old again?
/bark bark bark
sugar plums and fair maydens danced in our heads
we ate some white trash, left crumbs in our beds
we were warm we were stylish and fuzzy to boot
we howled in delight with our dear maydens loot!
thank you sweet sunny, my muse so dear
mayden is spelled on my heart in a sear
SJ- 10 again? I'll ask Santa and see what he can do :)
Schaumi- Today I dipped hand-made p-nutbutter balls in chocolate- with my 2 yr old nephew at my feet whimpering..."Nonna- Nonna...cock-olate, cock-olate!" Fun, and yum...and not on my "approved list" of foods! :(
Iamnot...*blush* Yes, ahemmm- I suppose it was entertaining :) I woke up fine the next morning though- thankfully! :)
K9- I would know your bark anywhere! LOVED THE POEM!
You are the best- Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and that I will see you sometime before Easter! OK? :)
Libby- yes, here at my house we are cozy and chubby- especially now! LOL :) We do have fun during the holidays...in between spurts of madness.
/t- I'll remember that ;) lol :)
Love the glasses.
The pup did a good job, at least in regards to the cookies and fudge. They were delicious like you wouldn't believe.
Or, maybe you would believe, since you tasted them too.
Most important, you look as though the season is merry and bright, making me thus a little less inclinded to say, "Bah! Humbug!"
X- I am working on something for you...and somehow I thought you would like the glasses look-
more scholarly perhaps? :)
Lux- I hope you will get to stay with me, and that I will get to stay with you at some point in our futures! I may even put a fire in the fireplace tonight :)
Thanks Kate :) It was a fun weekend- and I know you are swamped getting ready for your trip and the holidays- you are in my thoughts :)
Can I live with you? This is enemy, but I gave myself a beta name so that I can comment on beta blogs.
I noticed that you have combustible socks right next to the fireplace, and an equally combustible tree next to both the socks and the fireplace. This is a recipe for a towering inferno. I don't want anything to happen to you, as it would mean the untimely end of our combustible relationship.
Yours truly,
Fire Marshall Pug
If you let all of us live with you, you'll never get online again! :)
EOR- I would love to have you come and stay with us- and our boys would get along well- I know they would :)
/t- you and the Lamb can come too :)
Pug- we have a combustible relationship??? I've never had one before- could be interesting :)
LL- I know- I'd just cook all day and listen to you guys...which sounds kind of nice actually :)
Bird- because of you- I am going to see if I can find one for the tree! :)
Everything looks great except for one thing. I think you should get some pajamas with a Christmas theme. Maybe with Rudolph on them. :)
