Our Lady of Perpetual Blogging Magnets :)

K9 has these ready :) (I'm not sure of the size)

A special thanks to him and /t- who both worked on this :) Smooch to both of you!

If you would like one- please EMAIL me with an address, (work, home, PO box, or your friend down the street- whatever makes you comfortable)

And I will mail a magnet to you :)

(Please don't post your address on the blog :)

A "magnet" seems appropriate in this case- I feel drawn to so many of you! :)

I can't wait to put one on my fridge! :)

you can email me at:

or
love_to_write@hotmail.com

Hope you have a great Labor Day weekend!

I'll try to get some photos of the "Wrath of Ernesto" in my yard- and post them some time this weekend ! :)

I was just chilling tonight, relaxing after a great show last night at the Comedy Cellar.

Writing a little for my upcoming show @ Carolines, dropping names and sitting on the bad side of the moon.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr--

I think K9 should send the magnets to some bloggers who don't know him, so he can attract some new visitors.

Ouch. You are making me feel guilty that Ernesto didn't come MY way. :)

Hope you have a nice weekend.

/t. :

Too late! Not to worry, though, as I see images on my pancakes quite often. Sometimes they even command me to "do" things. In fact that is how I started my blog.

X~ :) Shall I just bring your magnet when I come to NY? :)

Gary- let's just be thankful it was an easy storm...I know there will be times when we won't be so lucky- and we really needed the rain (well, we did, but not the coast)

Grunt- anytime you need to drop the "red guy" off, you can leave him with me! :)

PW- I think you need more sleep- less blogging :)

K9- Smooch :)

Rachel- Thank you :) I love the magnet- but wait until I have to start explaining it to friends who don't blog!

MAYDEN...REALLY...WE CAN GET ONE!

I used to think those people who had a refrigerator full of magnets were so retarded, and I've turned into one at 43. One side of my fridge are the magnets from wherever my husband & I have travelled together. The other side holds magnets that other people gave me.

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS MAGNET. It, along with so many others will tell yet another story on my fridge.

K9... YOU ROCK...

Malinda- I can't tell you how happy I am to send one to you! As soon as they come...I'll send them :)

Devout- Friend, (though I don't know you)- this is the only thing that has bothered me... the thought that someone would see this and be offended because they were Catholic- and I am really sorry about that kind of offense.

In my own faith- Baptist, I don't think we give Mary enough credit for who she was and what she went through as the mother of Christ- and on the other hand, I think my Catholic friends have gone to the other extreme in almost worshipping her.
I think about Mary a lot- I think she was someone most young women can identify with. I don't think she was "extraordinary" prior to the conception of Jesus...she was an ordinary girl called to an extraordinary purpose...AS ALL OF US ARE...or can be.
I joked with my husband over the image, that this magnet was as close as I'd ever be to that kind of perfection- feeling almost embarrased about it.

I hope you know that my bloved K9's intention was not to poke fun at the Mother of our Lord- rather to incorporate a bit of world renowned art into a wonderful adventure we have all shared in.

Mary is the universal woman...a young woman who represents the fact that God can and will use anyone who will yield to His purpose- and that the blessing of being "chosen" has only to do with our willingness...or humility.

I hope you will come back- I will visit you soon :)

SJ- I don't care what it costs to send a magnet to India...if you email me with you address- I will do all that is necessary to send you one! I promise :)
