The day after~

I love Pink Roses...on any day EXCEPT Valentines Day~
Call me crazy- but I don't want, or need, a man to buy me flowers under duress.
Give them to me when it's least expected...
These were on sale, the day AFTER Valentines day- Regular price= $38.50
MY price the day after...
$5.00!!!The only thing better than pink roses-
Is CHEAP pink roses! lol

Life is like this... If we get what we want- when we think we should have it, we'll pay too much and enjoy it less. If we wait patiently for a thing we want and love, it will come to us- at a better price, at the right time, and we'll enjoy it more.

At least, this is how it seems to work out for me~

Hugs! :)

hi ... sometimes when i visit your blog and see that header image i cannot believe i made it.

guess who?

i love pink roses, too. and i do not like receiving flowers of any kind as a guilt remedy. fortunately, i never have to worry about that. my life is filled with little surprises here and there, when i least expect it.

everyday is Valentine's day for me. i feel so fortunate.

I love the wisdom of your post. Indeed, it's true.

I wrote you a letter ... will post it soon.

I like the yellow-orange roses, used to give them to Mrs. Phos all the time when we were dating. I still get her bouquets form time to time just to let her know I was thinking about her.

I'd buy them for five dollars.

I'm glad you and your dad had a talk. Maybe some mending will take place eventually.

RH, it's a beautiful header.

$5.00 bouquets are definitely more wonderful than $40 ones. I bought Valentines M & M's on the 15th..2 bags for $2.50...OH YEAH!!! I was eyeballin' those big Russell Stover Hearts too....but I held off.

Lovely pictures Cora!

HUGS!!

Time to move out the Valentines stuff and bring in the Easter candy, just like the Walgreen's down the street.

Just as the old adage goes, "Good things come to those who wait."

I don't need flowers from a man either...Wait, that didn't sound right. Love the B/W photo.

Thanks for stopping by my site, and Cheers!!
